聯合隊在全運會上如願奪冠 ，王珊隊長王珊珊也為天津體育代表團奪得了一枚金牌。天津對此 ，夺金队需這位老將這樣告訴記者 ：“這是荣幸我參加的第四屆全運會了，最終拿到了一枚金牌 ，有种也算是自信很圓滿了。”
能夠為天津奪得一枚金牌，王珊在王珊珊看來非常開心 ，天津“對我來說還是夺金队需一種榮譽感 ，天津培養了我 ，荣幸能夠為天津代表團拿一塊金牌 ，有种是自信非常榮幸的。”前三屆全運會 ，王珊王珊珊都代表天津隊出戰 ，天津但都和冠軍失之交臂，夺金队需這次對她來說也算是一種非常圓滿的結果。
這次全運會上，王珊珊從前鋒回撤到了中衛位置上，她的出色表現讓後防線穩固了許多 。對此 ，王珊珊表示：“其實也是根據對手的不同特點 ，球隊有不同的安排 。教練和我有過溝通 ，希望在需要的時候讓我踢後衛，能夠帶動大家 。作為隊員，我無條件遵守教練的布置和安排 。”
盡管此前從沒有踢過中衛 ，不過和上海女足的決賽中 ，王珊珊依靠出色的位置感和技術優勢 ，讓對方前鋒沒有占得半點便宜 。王珊珊說 ：“我們畢竟是國家隊 ，還是需要有一種自信的 ，這樣才能打出我們的精神和氣勢 。”
在談到自己此刻心情的時候 ，王珊珊表示 ：“感謝天津的球迷和所有支持我的人 ，讓我拿到了這枚金牌。無論我在哪裏 ，我都希望能夠代表天津拿到金牌 ，自己要為天津這座城市爭光 。”
