2021賽季中超聯賽將於4月20日揭開戰幕。足协则新增约制度3月16日 ，颁布并中國足協公布了2021年《中國足球協會紀律準則》，条纪谈整整5個章節 ，律准總共115條。监督
根據紀律準則 ，社媒球員出現以下4種行為將會被足協重點處罰 ：一是内容對對手或者其他人嚴重犯規（特別是野蠻用力） ，球員將遭到至少停賽一場並罰款一萬的足协则新增约制度處罰；二是實施非體育道德的行為（攻擊性、侮辱性的颁布并言行），至少停賽2場並罰款2萬；三是条纪谈實施暴力行為（肘擊 、拳擊 、律准踢打等） ，监督至少停賽3場並罰款3萬；四是社媒向對手或者他人吐口水 ，將至少停賽6場並罰款6萬。内容
如果球員對比賽官員有違規的足协则新增约制度行為 ，處罰力度會再升一級 。對比賽官員實施非體育道德的行為 ，將要停賽至少5場並罰款5萬；實施暴力行為 ，則至少停賽6個月並罰款10萬；向比賽官員吐口水 ，將至少停賽12個月並罰款20萬 。
上個賽季 ，針對比賽中出現的爭議判罰 ，多名球員和俱樂部工作人員在社交媒體上發文表達過不滿 。北京國安隊官方微博還曾發表“黑暗不會永遠籠罩大地”的內容，俱樂部董事長周金輝也曾在網絡上表示 ，“比賽可以輸 ，但是絕不容忍黑暗的存在。”
值得注意的是，紀律準則第59條規定 ，球員或官員利用公共媒體或比賽日在體育場內或其周邊地區出現“挑起敵意和暴力”行為 ，造成嚴重後果的 ，將至少給予停賽或禁止進入替補席18個月 ，並處罰款至少30萬元 。
此外 ，紀律準則第64條規定 ：參賽球隊中斷比賽超過規定時間（超過裁判指定的計時時間5分鍾） ，視為罷賽，將給予取消注冊資格並罰款的處罰 。
繼2017年新增聽證程序的內容後，2021年的《中國足球協會紀律準則》增加了“紀律約談會”製度 。根據新修訂的《中國足球協會紀律準則》第102條“紀律約談會” 的相關條款 ，紀律委員會可以根據實際情況召開紀律約談會 ，對涉嫌違規違紀的當事人進行紀律約談和口頭警告 。
