卡納瓦羅首先批評了意大利足球運動 ：“對不起 ，冠俱但我們的乐部運動已成為歐洲最糟糕的運動之一 。即使是赛季美國大聯盟 ，他們的不再訓練也組織得更好 。球隊還會選擇簽下那些在職業生涯最後階段的夺冠球員，對年輕人的投資很少 。即使我們確信自己在戰術上是最好的 ，比賽也變得越來越乏味，冠軍也不再那麽吸引人。”
談到自己的未來 ，卡納瓦羅表示 ：“我在中國很好 。對於恒大 ，由於中超決賽當中輸球 ，引起了一些誤會 。一切都已經澄清了 。我和俱樂部高層一起審查了新賽季的備戰計劃 ，我們將越來越關注年輕人 ，因此 ，我們將不會成為奪冠大熱門，但是這份工作對我而言仍然很有意義 。”
