北京時間5月2日 ，世预赛罚國際足聯公布了紀律委員會對今年第一季度2022卡塔爾世界杯預選賽的根廷處罰情況 。國際足聯表示 ，因推FIFA一直以來都對足球場上的迟开歧視、暴力現象采取零容忍的球遭態度 ，此次一些國家也將因為此前在世預賽中球迷的罚万法郎行為受到處罰 。
部分處罰情況如下 ：
阿根廷 ：對陣厄瓜多爾和委內瑞拉推遲開球 ，瑞士各罰款5000瑞士法郎 ，世预赛罚共罰款1萬瑞士法郎；
澳大利亞：在對陣越南的根廷比賽中存在安全和秩序的問題（在比賽中燃放煙花） ，罰款1000瑞士法郎；
巴西 ：在對陣巴拉圭的因推比賽中 ，比賽安全和秩序存在問題 ，迟开罰款2萬瑞士法郎；
哥倫比亞：在對陣秘魯的球遭比賽中存在歧視問題 ，罰款1.5萬瑞士法郎；
意大利 ：在對陣北馬其頓的罚万法郎比賽存在安全和秩序的問題（在比賽中燃放煙花） ，罰款6000瑞士法郎；
葡萄牙 ：對陣土耳其的瑞士比賽存在安全和秩序的問題（在比賽中燃放煙花 、球迷闖入場） ，世预赛罚罰款1.1萬瑞士法郎；
烏拉圭 ：對陣巴拉圭和秘魯的比賽延時開球 ，罰款1萬瑞士法郎；
智利 ：對陣阿根廷時 ，有歧視 、團隊不當行為、球場秩序和安全問題 ，罰款8萬瑞士法郎並限製一場比賽的觀眾人數；
