2020歐洲杯與美洲杯正在進行 ，皇马夏季轉會窗口卻已經悄然打開 ，巴萨歐洲的有意意各大俱樂部都希望在轉會市場上買下自己心儀的球員。到目前為止，利带意大利後衛斯皮納佐拉是刀后2020歐洲杯上表現最出色的球員之一，因此羅馬現在正在為留住這名28歲的卫遭万欧球員而傷透腦筋 。據《羅馬體育報》透露，起步皇馬和巴薩都可能參與到對這名球員的皇马爭奪中來 。
在兩家俱樂部中 ，巴萨據說皇馬更加希望獲得斯皮納佐拉的有意意加盟 。皇馬主帥安切洛蒂希望可以引進他的利带同胞 。而對於球隊來說 ，刀后馬塞洛已經34歲 ，卫遭万欧並且他的起步合同將在明年夏天到期。所以對皇馬而言 ，皇马斯皮納佐拉格外有吸引力 。
據報道 ，皇馬的馬約拉爾不會成為這筆交易中的一部分，後者上賽季曾租借效力於羅馬奧林匹克體育場 。《羅馬體育報》表示 ，羅馬方麵隻接受現金交易 ，並且價格不能低於4000萬歐元，才有可能完成這筆交易 。
