歐洲杯即將開打 ，德尚但伤大问各支參賽球隊的本泽病没傷病情況引起外界關注 。法國隊在對陣保加利亞的马现熱身賽中 ，本澤馬大腿肌肉受傷被換下 。拐杖法國隊主帥德尚接受采訪時透露 ，德尚但伤大问本澤馬暫時需要拄著拐杖，本泽病没但是马现他的傷勢並沒有大問題 。
這場熱身賽本澤馬首發出場 ，拐杖當比賽進行到第39分鍾時 ，德尚但伤大问本澤馬接應隊友的本泽病没傳中 ，包抄到小禁區左側頭球爭頂 ，马现在爭頂的拐杖過程中 ，本澤馬的德尚但伤大问右大腿被對方撞了一下，經過隊醫的本泽病没簡單治療後 ，本澤馬無法堅持比賽，马现被吉魯替換下場。隨後本澤馬直接走回了更衣室 。
在下半場開打前 ，法國隊主帥德尚接受采訪時談到本澤馬的傷情 ，當被問到本澤馬是否拄著拐杖時，德尚表示：“是拄著拐杖 ，他膝蓋以上的肌肉瞬時間受到了很大的衝擊力 ，然後他決定被換下，因為他感覺疼痛感加劇 。但是本澤馬的傷沒有什麽大問題 ，他現在跟隊醫和康複師在一起 。”
本澤馬時隔6年後重返法國國家隊 ，對陣威爾士和保加利亞的熱身賽 ，本澤馬都是首發出戰 ，並且在對陣威爾士的比賽中貢獻一次助攻 。本屆歐洲杯 ，本澤馬毫無疑問是法國隊鋒線主力，但是他的傷情具體如何現在還是未知數 ，可能會對他的歐洲杯前景產生影響 。
