拉姆退役後 ，拉姆拜仁曾經邀請拉姆出任俱樂部的退役體育總監 ，但是商拒申办遭到拉姆的拒絕 ，他認為現在還不是拜仁帮助杯回歸拜仁任職的最佳時機。拉姆當年接受采訪時曾經表示，任职他想要成為一名商人 ，德国想擁有自己的成功公司 ，並且自己去管理 。欧洲從2015年開始時，拉姆拉姆就陸續入股了多家公司 ，退役比如他投資過的商拒申办一家名為“Fanmiles”的互聯網創業公司在2017年市值就達到了3000萬歐元 。此外 ，拜仁帮助杯拉姆還是任职食品公司Schneekoppe和體育產品護理公司Sixtus的股東 。
