北京時間5月30日晚，世預賽亞洲區A組重新開戰，主帅中國隊7-0戰勝關島 。全队球武磊本場比賽梅開二度 ，已经也好並被評為本場比賽的尽力最有價值球員 。
賽後關島隊主帥徐東元表示 ：“恭喜中國隊獲勝 ，武磊上半場我們能夠踢出一些攻守轉換，阿兰但下半場不行了 ，欧洲我們隊每一個人都盡力了 ，关岛想要扳回比賽 ，主帅他們已經盡力了。全队球”
在被問到對中國隊哪名球員印象深刻時，已经也好徐東元表示 ：“對於中國隊的尽力比賽中 ，我們對於防守的武磊陣型有特別的準備 ，但中國隊的阿兰表現非常好，後麵的比賽我們會繼續今天的防守強度，希望能夠得到好的結果 。”
關島隊上半場丟了2個球 ，下半場丟了5個球 ，上下半場反差如此之大，是什麽原因？
對此徐東元表示 ：“由於我們最近無法長期係統訓練 ，陣容也有不整的地方 ，來到這裏也有很多困難 ，上半場非常盡力 ，下半場體力不支 ，所以丟了5個球 。”
如何評價武磊和阿蘭的表現 ？徐東元表示：“他們踢得特別好，無論在亞洲還是歐洲層麵 ，都是特別好的球員，他們有持續的進步 ，武磊有豐富在歐洲踢球的經驗 ，阿蘭也有在歐洲踢球的經驗 ，他們今天發揮非常不錯 。”（搜狐體育 裴力蘇州報道）
