北京時間5月30日晚 ，武磊世預賽亞洲區A組重新開戰，回国中國隊7-0戰勝關島 。球队武磊本場比賽梅開二度 ，进步並被評為本場比賽的非常反抢最有價值球員 。
賽後武磊表示：“非常感謝球迷的大教调地加油助威 ，因為疫情兩年時間沒有在有球迷進場的练强情況下比賽，球員非常興奮 ，武磊給我們營造了很好的回国主場氛圍 ，希望接下來的球队比賽給球迷帶來更多的勝利 ，給他們帶來更多的进步歡樂 。”
這也是非常反抢李鐵執掌國家隊以來 ，武磊代表國家隊踢的大教调地首場比賽 ，談到自己的练强感受 ，李鐵表示 ：“因為疫情的武磊原因 ，1年半的時間沒有回國家隊，但每次集訓都會跟球隊在一起 ，會被拉進微信群 ，知道球隊每天在做什麽，我和球隊一直在一起 ，跟隊友非常熟悉 ，不存在陌生的地方。球隊的氛圍非常好 ，很有凝聚力 ，平時訓練和比賽節奏 ，教練一直在跟我們強調和灌輸 ，這是我印象比較深刻的地方，也是我們進步的地方 。”
在被問到經過長途跋涉回到國家隊 ，在調整上付出哪些努力時 ，武磊表示 ：“回到國家隊，非常興奮和激動 ，長途旅行雖然比較疲勞 ，但大家給我的幫助 ，能夠緩解我心理上的疲勞 ，對於我來說 ，自己還是能夠適應這種節奏 。我看到了球隊非常大的進步 ，李指導給我們強調的快節奏和前場的就地反搶 ，來到國家隊每個人都是中國最好的球員 ，所有的比賽都是我們通過每一天訓練去完成的 ，不是靠某一個球員去完成，大家是一個集體 。”（搜狐體育 裴力 蘇州報道）
