本期集訓前期在上海厚湃爾足球公園基地展開 ，随队國足隊員直到21日才基本到齊 ，出征隨後進行了為期5天的强赛封閉訓練 。25日下午，郑铮遭遇國足在基地進行了一場內部教學賽 ，家人檢驗近期集訓成果。离世离队有消息稱 ，悲痛包括李磊 、名伤王秋明 、员仍郭田雨、池忠國在內的傷員未上場 。
在教學賽之前 ，山東泰山老將鄭錚提前離隊 。據了解 ，在入選國足前 ，鄭錚遭遇家人離逝的悲痛 ，此次的離隊也是因為家庭原因 。目前隊中王秋明腳踝及腰部都有傷病 ，李磊大腿肌肉有傷 ，郭田雨和池忠國此前在聯賽中也有不同程度的受傷 。盡管如此 ，傷員們並未“落選” ，而是悉數前往多哈，包括日前補召進隊的王上源。根據計劃 ，武磊將於26日離開西班牙 ，並與中國隊會合 。
