5月18日，深足深圳隊外援卡爾德克在接受媒體采訪時透露 ，若国有關自己入籍中國的足需足协事情確實已在運作之中 ，但不知到了具體哪一步 。德克而據了解 ，球队全力深圳足球俱樂部對此事的配合態度非常明確，那就是工作如果國家隊確實需要卡爾德克 ，那麽俱樂部就會全力配合中國足協落實相關手續。深足
卡爾德克表示 ：“我的若国想法很簡單 ，我現在是足需足协深圳隊的一員 ，我要為這支球隊 ，德克這個城市做自己最大的球队全力貢獻 。至於(入籍)那些事情，配合並不是工作我能選擇的 ，而是深足其他人選擇我 。”
談到球員入籍問題 ，卡爾德克說 ，“當我的水平足夠高的時候 ，或者說我有足夠的能力去為國家做一些貢獻的時候 ，我是可以去付出這些努力的 。對我來說，如果我被選擇的話，我肯定是非常的開心 ，我也會樂於去做出我的努力。”
至於自己入籍一事的進展 ，卡爾德克說，“可能事情並沒有想象那麽簡單 ，因為我並不知道這些事情怎麽運作，但是我知道已經開始運作一部分了 ，我也不知道到了哪步 。但是我相信如果他們完完全全信任我和選擇我的時候，那證明他們肯定我的價值 ，我也會真的非常開心 ，非常樂於去為下一個團隊做貢獻 。”
卡爾德克2016年加盟重慶 ，此後一直在中超效力 。按照國際足聯相關規定 ，卡爾德克符合變更會籍的條件 。
