在崔康熙看來，申花实力海港的板凳本拼整體實力很強 ，需要先去消耗對方，有资然後後發製人 。崔康场“如果上半場就這樣用人的話（使用速度型隊員） ，在對方體力充沛和體力不足的情況下是不一樣的。對方體力充足的情況下 ，我們是很難打出速度的 ，所以我們想上半場相對保守一點。”
賽前一天申花的最後一堂訓練課 ，隻持續了40分鍾 ，但卻是非常重要的。崔康熙讓隊員嚐試了這套新陣型的站位 、跑位 。
海港的外援組合阿瑙 、奧斯卡 、穆伊、洛佩斯是中超頂級的，尤其是阿瑙 、奧斯卡、穆伊都是英超級別的外援 ，貿然跟海港打對攻的話，非常冒險 。而以申花目前的板凳實力 ，是有足夠資本跟對手拚下半場 。
