北京時間7月1日 ，国足2022年卡塔爾世界杯亞洲區預選賽第三階段暨12強賽分組抽簽儀式在馬來西亞吉隆坡的同组亞足聯總部舉行 。中國國家隊與日本 、对手对日澳大利亞 、交锋记录沙特阿拉伯 、碾压年阿曼 、越南越南同在B組 。本队整理與對手的国足交鋒記錄可以看到 ，國足已經連續23年沒有戰勝過日本隊，同组雖然目前在總交手記錄上是对手对日與藍武士持平；另外與越南隊則是保持著碾壓式的優勢 。
中國隊與日本隊自1917年開始計起 ，交锋记录雙方共交鋒38次 ，碾压年交鋒戰績為15勝8平15負 。越南不過自1998年戴拿斯杯依靠黎兵上下半場的本队各一個入球2-0擊敗日本隊後 ，最近23年的国足12次交鋒 ，國足5平7負未有勝績 。
與澳大利亞隊的總戰績則是5勝2平6負略處下風 ，2015年亞洲杯澳大利亞隊2-0擊敗國足 ，但2010年兩場世預賽，澳大利亞隊一平一負沒能在中國隊身上討得便宜。
中國隊和沙特阿拉伯隊的交鋒記錄是6勝4平7負，最近一次交鋒也是2015年亞洲杯，當時中國隊依靠於海的進球1-0小勝對手 。
國足此前共與阿曼隊有過5次對戰 ，戰績為3勝2負。2001年國足在世預賽賽場分別以2-0和1-0雙殺對手，但最近兩次熱身賽交手 ，阿曼隊先後以3-1和1-0擊敗中國隊 ，不過雙方最近的一次對戰也是在2013年年初 ，也就是說八年多以前了 。
至於越南隊 ，此前雙方共有過9次交鋒，國足全勝 。其中1998年世預賽 ，中國隊先後以3-1和4-0雙殺對手 。不過越南方麵，對碰上中國隊都表現出非常樂觀的態度 ，認為有機會在本次世預賽上完成他們的曆史性突破 。（卓奧友）
