阿曼在倒數第二輪小組賽中客場1-0戰勝越南 ，今天球隊25日當天才能從河內返回馬斯喀特 ，下午與中國隊相比 ，奔赴阿曼隊將經曆長途飛行 ，马斯曼新身體消耗更大 ，喀特這對於國足而言無疑是获重一個好消息 ，不過阿曼聯賽此前一直在正常進行當中 ，国足球員的比賽狀態可能要略好於國足 。
在與沙特隊的比賽中，戴偉浚 、朱辰傑 、劉洋 、張玉寧等年輕球員首發出場 ，並且有著不錯的表現，這也進一步奠定了國足年輕化的決心，有消息稱 ，與阿曼隊的比賽 ，國足將給年輕球員更多的出場機會 ，讓他們鍛煉 ，也為明年的亞洲杯籌備有生力量 ，蒿俊閔等老將很可能將淡出國足舞台。不過國足隊長吳曦本場比賽將結束黃牌停賽 ，以目前吳曦的狀態以及國足在中場的用人來看 ，吳曦很可能仍然是無法缺少的一員大將。
