在3-0大勝尤文之後，梅西巴薩結束了新賽季前的离开最後一場熱身賽 。在賽後出席新聞發布會時 ，不会巴萨巴薩主帥科曼談到了梅西 ，改变他表示巴薩不會因為梅西的战术離去而改變戰術打法 。有媒體稱阿圭羅也想在梅西離隊後告別巴薩 ，替代科曼對此進行了否認 。梅西
科曼首先複盤本場比賽：“我們踢了一場精彩的离开比賽 ，對手很強大 ，不会巴萨防守能力很棒 。改变在上半場 ，战术我們得分機會不少 ，替代而且很快就進球了 。梅西我們整體表現不錯 ，离开但也丟失過球權 。不会巴萨內托的表現是現象級的 ，能夠擊敗尤文對我們而言非常重要 。現在 ，我們基本為西甲做好了準備 。”
“在比賽開始前我就告訴球員們 ，這是個特別的日子 ，因為梅西要走了 。大家都是職業球員 ，都會為了俱樂部竭盡全力 。”科曼談到梅西的離去 ，“我們都為了俱樂部而戰 ，我們無法改變現狀 ，所以就要譜寫新的一頁 。我要告訴大家 ，我們是個很棒的球隊 。”

科曼否認阿圭羅想走：“那是假消息，他剛簽約巴薩 ，他很興奮 。很遺憾，他在上午訓練中受傷了 ，無法出場 。對於我們的備戰而言 ，這是個打擊。現在 ，阿圭羅正在恢複訓練 ，他能為巴薩貢獻很多 。”
在賽前 ，科曼也曾做過簡短發言：“盡管梅西離開了 ，但我們仍然很期待新賽季 。年輕人是巴薩的未來，時隔一年再次看到觀眾入場也令人興奮 。我相信 ，這賽季中 ，我們能給球迷帶來很多快樂 。”
