北京時間4月2日 ，卡塔2022年卡塔爾世界杯小組賽抽簽結束 ，尔世將於今年11月正式開賽 。界杯揭幕卡塔爾世界杯是赛程赛月首次在北半球冬季舉行 ，賽事將曆時28天 ，战月於2022年11月21日至12月18日進行 ，日决日揭幕戰於北京時間2022年11月21日18點開球，卡塔東道主卡塔爾出戰 ，尔世決賽12月18日打響 。界杯揭幕
8個小組的赛程赛月角逐將在12天的時間內完成 ，小組賽階段每天4場比賽 。战月小組賽階段的日决日比賽被安排在北京時間18點 、21點 、卡塔24點以及淩晨3點開球 。尔世最後一輪小組賽及淘汰賽階段 ，界杯揭幕分別定於北京時間23點 、3點開球 ，決賽定於北京時間12月18日晚23點。
