據巴西媒體《環球體育》報道 ，约远义由於疫情原因導致外國人難以進入中國 ，人让穆裏奇的无意家人為了能夠到中國與他團聚申請了中國簽證，但他們為此已經等待了長達8個月的穆里時間。起初 ，奇宣切毫穆裏奇的布河北沧家人從巴西提交簽證申請，而在四個月的州雄等待後 ，他們選擇嚐試從迪拜申請中國簽證 。狮解最終 ，约远义曆經長期等待與繁瑣程序後 ，人让穆裏奇的家人依然無法來到中國與他團聚 ，這也讓穆裏奇最終做出了離開河北滄州雄獅的決定 。
目前 ，穆裏奇認為回到巴西與家人相聚 ，是自己的首要選擇 ：“我要回巴西 ，是因為我的家人無法進入中國 。此前我已經獨自在中國待了八個月的時間 ，現在到了你必須到了要考慮一切的時候 。我有一個小女兒 ，還有個八歲的兒子 ，還有妻子 ，我會想念他們。所以當你所做的一切必須遠離家人時 ，這些都毫無意義 。”
對於自己的未來，穆裏奇仍期待回到巴西踢球 。他表示：“我的油箱裏還有油 ，我想繼續踢下去 。我的身體狀況非常好 ，完全能應付巴西的比賽強度 。”
