在抗議活動中有6名警察受傷 ，抗议1名曼聯球迷被捕 。活动之後曼聯對利物浦的没完没曼迷组比賽被推遲到當地時間5月13日舉行 。由於比賽推遲 ，联球曼聯屆時需要在5天內踢3場比賽 ，织发再次賽程非常緊張 。而發起了上周末抗議活動的曼聯球迷組織並沒有就此罷手 ，他們已經通過社交媒體呼籲球迷們在當地時間5月13日舉行第二次抗議活動 。
曼聯球迷組織的聲明表示 ：“5月13日 ，周四 ，老特拉福德 ，神聖三位一體雕像（博比-查爾頓 、喬治-貝斯特 、丹尼斯-勞） ，我們再來一次 ！帶上你的朋友、家人 、煙花 、旗幟 、橫幅 、圍巾。讓我們再來一次 ，用行動投票，告訴格雷澤家族 ，我們直到格雷澤Out才會停止 。”
在上周的球迷抗議活動後 ，擔任天空體育解說嘉賓的曼聯名宿加裏-內維爾稱 ：“我認為今天所有的球迷都應該團結一致支持曼聯球迷所做的一切，因為兩周前格雷澤家族做的事情（參與創建歐超聯賽）對英格蘭足球來說是危險的 。”不過事後加裏-內維爾受到了一些批評 ，認為他的言論是在支持球迷的暴力抗議活動 。
