北京時間1月13日，国足中國男足繼續在上海世紀公園球場進行訓練 ，人数人暂相比12日的未开訓練 ，朱辰傑 、启技李帥 、战术劉若釩三人歸隊報到 ，训练國足到隊人數已經達到30人 。国足
李帥和劉若釩此前隨隊在蘇州參加超甲附加賽 ，人数人暂在聯賽結束之後，未开直接從蘇州趕到上海與國家隊會合 ，启技朱辰傑此前報到時出現了體溫偏高的战术情況 ，為了避免意外情況發生 ，训练返回家中休息 ，国足12日晚體溫已經恢複正常的人数人暂劉若釩與全隊會合 。另外 ，未开尹鴻博因為身體原因 ，12日的訓練沒有隨隊參加 ，而是留在酒店健身房進行力量訓練，13日尹鴻博也出現在了球場邊 ，不過他更多的時候還是和張稀哲等人一起單獨進行訓練，還無法跟上全隊的節奏 。
本期國家隊入選人數比較多，按照李霄鵬的計劃 ，是等全體隊員到齊之後，將隊員氛圍兩組 ，分別由助教帶隊訓練 。由於目前到隊人員隻有一半左右 ，因此國家隊還沒有開始技戰術訓練 ，而是以力量和身體恢複為主 ，而據隊員透露 ，新的教練組暫時也沒有對隊員提出比較明確的要求 ，李霄鵬也希望在隊內營造一種相對輕鬆的氛圍 。
根據計劃 ，國足16日和20日將進行兩場熱身賽 ，確定前往日本客場的球員名單 ，預計代表團總人數在60人左右 。23日中國隊將從上海出發 ，飛往日本東京 。武磊和李磊也將直接從歐洲飛赴日本 ，與國家隊會合 。中國隊與日本隊的比賽 ，將安排在琦玉世界杯球場舉行 。足協防疫團隊也在嚴密關注日本國內的疫情變化 ，確保能夠有效應對 。（搜狐體育 裴力）
