北京時間10月5日 ，世預賽12強賽中國隊對陣越南隊的韦世比賽即將打響 ，越南媒體“thethao247”分析說 ，豪受兩隊之間的伤天势必胜中這場對抗“重要性是毋庸置疑的” ，兩隊此前都一分未得 ，降大尽优但是礼占從種種情況來看 ，越南隊都占據著天時地利人和，越媒全取三分勢在必得 。韦世
越南隊從當地時間10月1日就來到了阿聯酋，豪受進行了多次適應性訓練 。伤天势必胜中由於客觀條件 ，降大尽优越南隊隻能內部與U22進行對抗賽，礼占離開河內訓練基地的越媒時候 ，也不得不告別隊內核心阮仲煌（Nguyễn Trọng Hoàng） 、韦世陳明王（Trần Minh Vương） ，豪受但是好在中場球員裴天勇、阮清忠 、阮聰芳都及時回歸 。
來到阿聯酋以後 ，越南的人員緊缺情況得到了改善 ，武文清（Vũ Văn Thanh）和潘文德（Phan Van Duc）都回到了隊中 ，武文清表示 ，全隊已經為下一場比賽做好了100%的準備 ，受傷球員的替補問題也將得到圓滿解決 。
關於阿聯酋的天氣情況，中國方麵擔心炎熱的天氣影響體能 ，已成功申請更改比賽時間，但是越南隊有過在這裏比賽的經驗 ，因此比對手更容易適應 。
最大的利好消息在於 ，就在對陣越南的比賽前 ，中國隊的韋世豪突然受傷，將不得不缺席對越南的比賽 。韋世豪是中國隊備受期待的前鋒 。但如果從相反的方向考慮，這被認為是送給樸恒瑞教練團隊的“天上掉下來的禮物” 。
兩隊交鋒曆史上，越南隊曾經6次輸給中國隊 ，但是兩支國家隊上一次交鋒還是在2012年 。越南媒體表示 ：“希望在精心準備 、精神振奮和主場球迷熱烈歡呼的情況下，’金星勇士’能夠戰勝中國隊 。曆史在等待著樸恒瑞教練！”
