《tbrfootball》指出 ，浦旧雖然《天空體育》曾表示 ，获克曼城的曼城引援目標涵蓋了世界上所有的頂級中鋒 ，甚至包括在多特如日中天的圭罗哈蘭德 。但參考哈蘭德高達1億英鎊的替身市場價，因斯或許才是锁定盛赞更適合操作的人選 。
南安普頓前鋒在上個賽季迎來了爆發 ，利物洛普個人打入22粒英超進球 ，浦旧在金靴的获克競爭中隻輸給了瓦爾迪 。本賽季 ，曼城因斯的狀態有所下滑，迄今為止在聯賽中打入8球 ，助攻3次。
