而索斯蓋特認為 ，英格蘭隊是在俄羅斯世界杯中打下了一個強大的班底 ，隨後在本屆歐洲杯中繼續保持戰鬥力 。“我認為我們在俄羅斯世界杯中建立了牢固的紐帶 ，而且也在本屆歐洲杯中顯示了出來 。但今晚對於我們每個人來說都很難接受 。”
