22歲的皇马法國前鋒姆巴佩在2018年加盟巴黎聖日耳曼 ，被巴黎球迷們視為法國本土球星的正伺代表。但姆巴佩的西媒合同隻剩一年到期 ，而且拒絕和大巴黎續約。巴黎姆巴佩此前一直希望轉會西甲豪門皇馬 ，清楚雖然梅西在上周加盟巴黎聖日耳曼 ，姆巴但這並沒有改變姆巴佩的离队離隊意願。
西班牙四台表示 ，意愿巴黎聖日耳曼也清楚姆巴佩的皇马離隊意願 。姆巴佩希望能夠在今夏轉會期就轉投皇馬 ，並嚐試讓大巴黎老板納賽爾就自己的轉會和皇馬進行談判。距離今夏轉會期結束還有兩周時間 ，兩家俱樂部依然有足夠的時間進行轉會談判 。
而意大利著名足球記者羅馬諾則透露 ，巴黎聖日耳曼俱樂部仍然相信可以留住姆巴佩 ，此前納賽爾主席曾多次公開表示姆巴佩會留下 。不過姆巴佩的合同在明年夏天就要到期 ，如果本賽季無法續約 ，大巴黎就要冒讓姆巴佩免費離隊的風險 。皇馬目前正在等待事態的進一步發展 ，一旦情況出現變化就能隨時做好應對準備 。
在本賽季前兩輪法甲聯賽中 ，姆巴佩均代表大巴黎首發出場，並且打進1球助攻2次 ，依然保持著出色的狀態 。而在本周二的隊內訓練中 ，姆巴佩、梅西、內馬爾、迪馬利亞 、德拉克斯勒、納瓦斯分在同一小組 ，並且在隊內訓練賽中取勝 ，媒體戲稱“這是有史以來最不公平的訓練賽” ，而梅西還在訓練中腳後跟助攻姆巴佩進球，兩人已經開始找到默契 ，但不知道球迷們能否在正式比賽中見到梅西和姆巴佩的表演 。
