有媒體擔心 ，安排莫德裏奇是莫德否遭遇到了傷病 ，或是缺席在首戰之後疲勞過度 。據悉，训练莫德裏奇在訓練中隻進行了熱身 ，克罗而沒有參加其餘部分的地亚对有单独訓練 。
對於媒體的安排疑問 ，克羅地亞國家隊發言人給出了這樣的莫德答複 ，“莫德裏奇還是缺席參與到了訓練當中 ，隻是训练在最後20分鍾 ，他有單獨的訓練安排 。這畢竟是比賽後的第二次訓練。”從目前的情況來看 ，克羅地亞的這一安排 ，還是希望盡量保護莫德裏奇的身體狀態 。
