東京奧運會前 ，争议女足公布參賽名單引起巨大爭議 。弃将唐佳麗 、贾秀将得救球馬君 、全偷婁佳慧等主將落選。袭门在接受《新華社》采訪時，手拯主帥賈秀全詳細解讀了這份名單 ，队无稱馬君、缘奥运引婁佳惠等老將落選 ，是教練組慎重考慮後做出的痛苦決定，而唐佳麗是因傷無緣奧運會 。
賈秀全補充道：“出線形勢不同 ，目標對手不同 ，位置打法不同，對用人的要求也會不同。我們是想給中生代球員更多機會，讓她們在奧運會上展示出中國女足精神 、形象 、技戰術素養 。較奧運會預選賽 ，這次球隊人員產生了一些重要變化，比如前鋒唐佳麗，老將馬君 、婁佳惠都落選了 ，而一些新麵孔進入到名單中 。”
新華社記者看到了南京醫科大學第三附屬醫院6月26日對唐佳麗傷情的診斷記錄 ，上麵寫著“膝關節痛左膝滑膜炎 ，左膝內側副韌帶及髕韌帶損傷” ，建議“患肢休息為主 ，避免劇烈活動” 。談到唐佳麗落選 ，賈秀全表示 ：“唐佳麗因傷無緣奧運會很遺憾 ，但她的職業生涯還長，希望她能好好養傷 。”
而對於馬君、婁佳惠等老將的落選 ，賈秀全說這是教練組經過慎重考慮 、權衡利弊後 ，做出的痛苦決定 。“我衷心感謝每個階段 ，每名入選國家隊的隊員，她們都為中國女足做出了巨大貢獻。中國女足的複興 ，女足精神 、女足文化和技戰術傳承 ，要靠幾代人努力 。”
