北京時間1月18日 ，吴曦國際足聯公布了FIFA年度最佳的年度尼第獲獎情況 ，拜仁前鋒萊萬榮獲最佳球員 ，最佳主帅切爾西主帥圖赫爾獲得最佳主帥 。投票隨後 ，顺序FIFA官網公布了投票詳情。先选在世界足球先生方麵 ，若鸟中國男足隊長吳曦的曼奇首選是切爾西中場大將若日尼奧 ，若鳥在去年先是吴曦幫助藍軍奪得歐冠冠軍，隨後又隨藍衣軍團獲得歐洲杯冠軍；年度最佳主帥方麵，年度尼第吳曦先選擇了去年夏天率領意大利奪得歐洲杯冠軍的最佳主帅曼奇尼 。
FIFA年度最佳由國家隊主帥 、投票國家隊隊長、顺序媒體和球迷投票選出 ，先选投票占比各25% 。若鸟各國家隊隊長有三張選票 ，第一票為5分 ，第二票為3分 ，第三票為1分 。

年度最佳主帥：曼奇尼 、圖赫爾 、弗裏克
年度最佳球員：若日尼奧 、梅西 、薩拉赫
