In what is possibly the most boring livestream of the year, a webcam focused on the town square of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, suddenly has thousands of viewers tuning in to watch the mundane video. 。

According to Reddit, the stream's views increased when a 4chan user posted the video along with a goofy threat to go to Jackson Hole to appear on the live feed. Even though the post was deleted, it made its way to Reddit, where of course the internet started treating the monotonous stream as if it were an exciting, adventurous video. 。

After its Reddit success, YouTube featured Jackson Hole's livestream. Comments are now coming in consistently – many commenters are particularly into a red truck that appeared on camera. 。

The joke has taken over the Jackson Hole subreddit, with silly posts such as “#RedTruck2016” "SHERIFF DABS" and "Report jaywalkers here," which links to Jackson Hole's crime stoppers page.。
