北京時間6月11日 ，利物據英國《teamtalk》報道 ，浦锁英超豪門利物浦俱樂部想要從西甲豪門巴塞羅那俱樂部挖來佩德裏 ，定维杜姆以替代已經加盟法甲豪門巴黎聖日耳曼俱樂部的替身維納爾杜姆 。
隨著巴黎聖日耳曼俱樂部官宣維納爾杜姆加盟 ，拜仁荷蘭中場的挖巴轉會大戲終於落下帷幕。作為維納爾杜姆的萨天前東家，利物浦俱樂部今夏必須解決的才中场一大問題就是尋找一名荷蘭中場的完美替代者 。根據《teamtalk》的利物消息 ，利物浦俱樂部想要在今夏從巴塞羅那俱樂部挖來佩德裏 。浦锁佩德裏是定维杜姆巴塞羅那俱樂部上賽季的最大發現 ，這名去年夏天來到諾坎普的替身西班牙天才 ，上賽季為紅藍軍團在各項賽事中出場52次 ，拜仁攻入4球 。挖巴憑借在巴薩驚豔的萨天發揮 ，佩德裏入選了西班牙參加本屆歐洲杯大名單 ，這名少年得誌的天才中場將迎來自己職業生涯的第一次大賽 。
《teamtalk》表示 ，利物浦俱樂部早在2019年就曾對佩德裏感興趣 ，在失去了維納爾杜姆之後 ，英超豪門將在今夏再次追逐西班牙天才。佩德裏能夠勝任中前衛 、後腰和邊前衛等多個位置 ，全能屬性的他將能夠完美取代維納爾杜姆 ，與亨德森和法比尼奧組成新的中場鐵三角 。若能簽下佩德裏 ，利物浦的中場實力將會大增 ，困擾球隊多年的中場創造力問題將會迎刃而解 。
