由於對主裁判的铲翻裁判判罰不滿 ，威廉-裏貝羅先是怒踢一個飛鏟放倒了主裁判 ，然後對著倒地的后脑昏厥主裁左腳爆頭 。威廉-裏貝羅的涉嫌左腳，重重踢在了主裁判的谋杀後腦勺上 。後腦勺是被逮捕人體最脆弱的部位之一，這裏受到重擊的铲翻裁判話有可能會導致死亡 。在被爆頭之後 ，怒踢主裁判立刻昏迷 ，后脑昏厥並被救護車送往醫院 。幾小時後 ，主裁判才從昏迷中醒了過來。
這場比賽很快被取消，威廉-裏貝羅則被警方控製住 。不久之後 ，威廉-裏貝羅因為涉嫌謀殺未遂而被警方逮捕 。等待他的 ，將會是法律的嚴懲 。
