北京時間10月8日 ，亞洲區12強賽第3輪 ，防线國足以3-2驚險戰勝越南 ，再损奪得12強賽的履薄首勝 。但值得一提的冰赢是，越南隊在這場比賽裏缺少多名主力 ，球对包括裴進勇 、南仅陳庭仲 、残阵阮成鍾和段文厚等主力球員 ，国足皆因傷未能出戰這場比賽。防线這也令國足戰勝的再损，實際上是履薄一支越南殘陣。贏球固然可喜，冰赢但國足仍然需要保持冷靜 ，球对進軍卡塔爾世界杯的南仅前景仍然難以讓人樂觀 。
