伊布在自傳《腎上腺素》中透露 ：“在2021年夏天 ，黎体是话烦的 ，我向巴黎聖日耳曼推薦自己 ，伊布育总但不是自曝曾自作為一名球員 ，而是荐担监现作為體育總監 。我打電話給巴黎主席納賽爾 ，任巴任對他說 ：‘如果我沒有和米蘭續約 ，黎体我會來到巴黎聖日耳曼 ，话烦並恢複你們球隊的伊布育总秩序。’納賽爾主席笑了，自曝曾自但他沒有拒絕 。荐担监现”

伊布在2012年至2016年曾效力巴黎聖日耳曼 ，幫助球隊奪得4次法甲聯賽冠軍 、2次法國杯冠軍 、3次法國聯賽杯冠軍、3次法國超級杯冠軍 ，伊布自己也3次獲得法甲最佳球員和最佳射手 。而萊昂納多在2011年至2013年首次擔任巴黎聖日耳曼體育總監 ，2019年再次上任並工作至今 。不過由於遲遲無法和姆巴佩續約 ，不少巴黎名宿和球迷對萊昂納多感到不滿 。
