比分被扳平之後 ，弗洛倫奇也拿到了一次絕佳的機會 ，可惜最終的射門差之毫厘 。在比賽結束前兩分鍾，卡盧盧在禁區內的手球給了對手絕殺比賽的機會，蘇亞雷斯的一顆大心髒讓邁尼昂無計可施 ，最終米蘭在主場慘遭馬競的逆轉 。值得一提的是 ，這是米蘭歐冠賽場上第二次被逆轉，歐冠首輪 ，米蘭在2-1領先的情況下 ，被利物浦連續打入兩球 ，最終無緣勝利 。
