而大巴黎體育總監萊昂納多則公開批評皇馬：“這是對巴黎聖日耳曼俱樂部和姆巴佩無數次缺乏尊重行為的其中一次 。首先是一名皇馬球員（本澤馬）談論姆巴佩 ，然後是主帥，現在又是皇馬主席 ，就好像姆巴佩已經是皇馬的一員……這種缺乏尊重的行為令人無法容忍 。”
萊昂納多接著說 ：“這種行為已經持續了兩年時間 。我想提醒弗洛倫蒂諾 ，轉會窗口已經關閉了 ，賽季正在進行中 ，接下來有很多比賽要踢，皇馬必須停止這樣的行為 。姆巴佩目前是巴黎聖日耳曼的一名球員 ，而且俱樂部希望這種關係能持續下去 。”
