北京時間6月17日 ，加霜禁赛據《RMC體育》報道 ，德国到失在德國0-1不敵法國的飞翼比賽中 ，與對方球員帕瓦爾衝撞 ，恐遭導致前者一度失去意識的把对德國左翼衛戈森斯 ，即將受到歐足聯的手撞识調查，不排除遭到禁賽的去意可能 。
比賽第58分鍾 ，雪上德國隊右路傳中 ，加霜禁赛禁區內的德国到失戈森斯高高躍起飛身搶點 ，但卻將毫無準備的飞翼帕瓦爾直接撞翻在地 。據帕瓦爾本人透露 ，恐遭自己一度有長達10到15秒鍾的把对時間失去了意識 。聯想到此前埃裏克森的手撞识突然休克 ，帕瓦爾的遭遇也足夠讓人心驚 。
雖然呂迪格疑似在背後咬了博格巴一口的行為在賽後更被關注，但最新消息卻顯示，歐足聯沒有對呂迪格展開調查，理由是呂迪格的行為並沒有形成嚴重的侵犯 ，並且當值主裁判的裁判報告也並未提及此事 ，德國中衛不會因此遭到禁賽 。
然而戈森斯可能就沒那麽好運了 。《RMC體育》表示 ，歐足聯已經對戈森斯的行為發起調查 ，以確定究竟是不是一次非常危險的暴力行為 。如果戈森斯被認定存在暴力行為 ，那麽等待他的將會是禁賽的處罰 。
