北京時間6月10日 ，英超英足總和英超發布聯合聲明 ：對參加歐超聯賽的官方六家俱樂部合計罰款2200萬英鎊 ，若再有類似行為，罚单罚B罚每家俱樂部將被處以2500萬鎊的合计罰款和30個積分的罰分。
曾轟動一時的再犯歐超最終以鬧劇的形式慘淡收場 ，但這並不意味著事情的将重終結 ，參加歐超的英超俱樂部將會麵臨何種處罰 ，一直是官方各方關注的焦點 。英足總和英超已經向參加歐超的罚单罚B罚利物浦 、曼聯 、合计曼城 、再犯切爾西 、将重托特納姆熱刺和阿森納六家豪門開出了一紙罰單 。英超在這份聯合聲明中這樣寫道：“六家參與歐超聯賽的官方俱樂部在今天再次承認了這次的錯誤行為 ，並重申了他們向英超聯賽以及英格蘭足球做出的罚单罚B罚承諾 。他們已經真誠地向球迷 、其他俱樂部 、英足總和英超聯賽道歉。出於善意的態度，六家俱樂部已經一致同意集體捐款2200萬英鎊，這筆資金將用於促進賽事發展 ，以及致力於球迷、草根足球以及社區足球項目 。”
聲明中還寫道 ：“俱樂部已同意支持新規的推出，若將來再有任何類似的行為都會導致俱樂部被扣罰30個積分 。此外 ，六家俱樂部各自還會被額外罰款2500萬英鎊。英超聯賽以及英足總在整個決策過程中密切合作，該協議是雙方經過調查後得出的最終定論。”
