北京時間4月9日，英媒據英國《每日電訊報》報道 ，阿圭阿根將在今夏恢複自由身的罗正阿圭羅正在考慮加盟另一家英超豪門托特納姆熱刺俱樂部 ，熱刺隊內的考虑多名阿根廷球員是吸引他的重要原因 。
自從曼城官宣阿圭羅將會在今夏合同到期後以自由身離隊的加盟消息之後 ，有關這位阿根廷前鋒的热刺下一站就成為了各方關注的焦點 。此前 ，廷帮有消息稱，召唤切爾西俱樂部有意這位有著豐富的英媒英超經驗的射手 。不過 ，阿圭阿根根據《每日電訊報》的罗正消息 ，阿圭羅正在考慮加盟托特納姆熱刺俱樂部的考虑可能性 。盡管同為英超Big6之一 ，加盟但熱刺的热刺實力與曼城和切爾西有著一定的差距 。從目前的廷帮積分榜形勢來看 ，熱刺有可能無緣下賽季的歐冠 ，但這並不能成為阻礙阿圭羅加盟球隊的因素。不過 ，熱刺的主力中鋒是哈裏-凱恩，這位英格蘭中鋒的地位超然 ，而球隊很少踢雙前鋒 ，因而，若加盟熱刺 ，阿圭羅必須要接受輪換角色。
目前 ，凱恩的替補是卡洛斯-維尼修斯 。雖然這位巴西高中鋒的出場機會並不多 ，但是他的得分效率尚可 ，稱得上是凱恩的合格替補 。如果阿圭羅來到熱刺 ，那麽維尼修斯的出場時間將會進一步減少，畢竟 ，除了年齡優勢 ，這位巴西射手在任何方麵都無法與這位享譽世界足壇的阿根廷前鋒相比 。可以預見的是 ，征戰英超多年的阿圭羅的到來能使熱刺的鋒線實力大增 ，但阿根廷人的薪水將會是熱刺重點考慮的因素 ，因為以精明著稱的列維必然不會給凱恩的替補開出高薪 。
《電訊報》表示 ，熱刺隊內的阿根廷幫是吸引阿圭羅加盟球隊的重要原因 。目前 ，熱刺陣中擁有拉梅拉、洛塞爾索和加紮尼加三名阿根廷球員 ，他們能夠幫助阿圭羅適應新環境 ，而阿圭羅這樣的大牌球星的到來也將進一步增強阿根廷幫在更衣室內的影響力 。
