有意思的是 ，賽後兩人在球員接受采訪的時間走在了一起 ，索帥還把手搭在了瓜迪奧拉的肩膀上 ，兩人進行了一段時間的交談 ，氣氛看上去非常友好。從場邊的較量來看 ，兩人似乎沒有分出勝負 ，不過在競技場上，索帥是今天的勝利者。雖然在執教方麵是晚輩 ，但是索爾斯克亞目前在和瓜迪奧拉的麵對麵8次交鋒中以4勝1平3負占據上風 ，挪威人更是成為曼聯隊史上在自己執教生涯麵對曼城的前3次客場比賽中全部取勝的主教練 。
