梅西應聲倒地 ，並一度無法起身。但令人無法想象的是 ，主裁判竟然沒有吹罰梅迪納犯規 ，朗斯繼續控球進攻。在朗斯發起進攻時 ，以維拉蒂為代表的多位巴黎球員放棄防守 ，他們示意梅西此時倒地，要求朗斯將球踢出邊線。但弗法納並沒有尊重體育精神 ，而是用一腳遠射將球轟入了巴黎網窩中 。納瓦斯之所以出現黃油手失誤 ，很可能也與對此球準備不足有關 。
在朗斯球員們慶祝進球時 ，巴黎球員們則圍住主裁要個說法 。主裁判不但沒有做出公正的判罰，反而向維拉蒂出示了一張黃牌 。在這個夜晚 ，梅西實在是倒黴透頂 。
