今夏以自由球員身份加盟巴塞羅那的德佩荷蘭前鋒孟菲斯-德佩 ，近日談到了自己在曼聯效力時期的范加艱難歲月 ，他將矛頭直指紅魔時任兩大名帥範加爾和穆裏尼奧 ，尔麾他直言這兩位教練從未給自己融入球隊的下失心穆機會 ，就連當時的去信曼聯隊友也對自己的遭遇感到十分困惑 。值得一提的未想是 ，範加爾目前是德佩荷蘭國家隊主帥 。
2015年夏天 ，范加時年21歲的尔麾德佩頭頂3400萬歐元巨額轉會費光環，從埃因霍溫加盟曼聯，下失心穆他當時被認為是去信歐洲最好的年輕球員之一。不過 ，未想德佩從未征服夢劇場，德佩甚至是范加沒有得到穩定的出場時間 。在加盟曼聯的尔麾第一個賽季裏 ，德佩出場45次 ，其中27次首發登場 ，打進7球助攻3次 。2016年夏天 ，穆裏尼奧接過範加爾的教鞭 ，德佩在穆帥麾下效力的半個賽季裏僅僅首發過1場 。相較於賽場上慘淡的表現，德佩以場外負麵消息的形象進入球迷視野的次數則更多 。2017年1月 ，德佩以1600萬歐元轉會費黯然離開 ，他選擇加盟了法甲勁旅裏昂 。甚至不少曼聯球迷認為，德佩是紅魔有史以來最大的水貨。
在接受媒體采訪時 ，德佩公開了他當時與曼聯主教練的關係 。德佩說道 ：“我一直在想為什麽會出現這種問題 ，第一個賽季我不得不去適應 ，這與我在埃因霍溫時相比並不順利。我失去了一點信心 ，我也失去了範加爾和其他教練組對我的信任 。這對我來說很難 。在接下來的一個賽季裏 ，我覺得擁有了更多經驗 ，但他們更換了主帥……穆裏尼奧來到球隊之後 ，我要為進入球隊奮鬥 ，但我認為他的腦海裏從未出現過給我一次機會的想法。他從未給過我機會 ，從來沒有 。我去了他的辦公室 ，但沒有什麽改變 。”
“這是一個非常困難的時期 ，我覺得我訓練得很好 ，球員們自己也不理解 。博格巴和伊布也問我 ：‘你為什麽不參加比賽 ？’對我來說，這更加證明了我沒有得到機會。我意識到自己不會願意待在一個無法出場比賽的大俱樂部之中，我意識到自己必須重新開始 ，並向所有人證明我可以成為最好的球員之一 。我有一份5年的長期合同 ，薪水也很高 ，但我感覺不舒服。所以我離開了 ，這是我能做出的最好的決定 。”
