北京時間5月6日 ，亚运引亞洲奧林匹克理事會總幹事宣布 ，延划不会改原定於2022年9月10日至25日在中國杭州舉辦的国足关注第19屆亞洲運動會將延期舉行 ，具體日期擇期宣布 。出战中國男足U23國家隊下一步如何調整備戰計劃 ，东亚引發外界關注。杯计变據搜狐體育了解 ，亚运引中國足協下一步也會根據亞奧理事會的延划不会改相關政策改變 ，對U23國家隊備戰計劃進行調整 ，国足关注但今年的出战東亞杯足球賽 ，肯定還是东亚目前這支U23國家隊出戰 。
U23男足今年最重要的杯计变比賽任務就是亞運會，這也是亚运引中國足協今年工作的重中之重 。在亞運會宣布延期之後 ，延划不会改中國足協正在與相關主管部門積極溝通 ，国足关注確定相關細節 ，調整備戰方案 。如果亞運會延期一年舉行 ，根據東京奧運會的操作方案 ，足球項目的參賽球員年齡很可能不會進行調整，還將由這支隊伍代表中國代表團參賽，這意味著備戰時間也將更加充分 。
在亞運會延期的情況下 ，今年U23國家隊最重要的比賽任務就是東亞杯 。該項賽事將於7月19日-27日移師日本舉行，中國足協此前已經確定 ，將由U23國家隊出戰該項賽事 ，為亞運會熱身 。據悉 ，目前雖然亞運會宣布延期 ，但U23國家隊出戰東亞杯的比賽計劃將不會再作調整 。（搜狐體育 裴力）
