由於前一階段訓練上量，感觉隊中出現了不同程度的中叙足汇傷病 ，其中韋世豪 、热身让更池忠國的成国场找身體反應比較大 ，過去幾天一直在調整恢複 ，报表但影響到10月7日、演李员上12日兩場世預賽的多球可能性較小 。右後衛王剛恢複還需要幾天 ，感觉問題也不是中叙足汇太大 ，老將張琳芃的情況日漸好轉 。據助理教練忻峰介紹 ，經過隊內兩場分組對抗賽 ，隊員狀態“感覺是越來越好” 。接下來與敘利亞隊的交鋒 ，既是展示訓練成效的“匯報表演” ，也是讓大部分隊員提高狀態的良機 。
其實 ，隊員身體有些傷病對於球隊來說是再正常不過的事情 ，而且中國隊教練組在此次西行前就把各種原因導致的“減員”問題考慮到了，隊伍人數能夠應對傷病情況 ，對訓練和比賽不會構成特別大的影響 。當然，如果關鍵位置上的關鍵隊員出現無法登場的情況則另當別論。目前對中國隊構成較大威脅的是心理疲勞 ，畢竟國腳一直在封閉環境中訓練 、比賽 、再訓練 ，周而複始 ，沒有特別有效的心理調控方式 ，容易積累負麵情緒。中國足球過往幾次試圖通過長期集訓的方式打好世預賽、奧預賽 ，最終都功虧一簣 ，這個問題應當引起中國隊高層的重視 。
