吉列爾梅1991年5月21日出生於巴西裏約熱內盧州特雷斯裏奧斯市 ，州城正土身高174cm ，外援慣用腳左腳 ，有意司職前腰 ，离队同時也可勝任右邊鋒和中前衛的返老位置 。吉列爾梅出道於葡萄牙布拉加青訓係統 ，生涯早期在葡萄牙聯賽（布拉加 ，布拉加B隊 ，吉爾維森特）效力 。2014年 ，不到23歲的吉列爾梅加盟波蘭豪門華沙萊吉亞 ，是球隊最為非常倚仗的攻擊手之一。在為華沙萊吉亞效力的4年時間裏 ，他為球隊各項賽事出場150次 ，貢獻21球23次助攻的亮眼成績 ，幫助俱樂部奪得4次波蘭超級聯賽冠軍和3次波蘭杯冠軍 。
