北京時間12月3日 ，英媒由身英國媒體《泰晤士報》消息 ，卡瓦卡瓦尼與曼聯合同明年夏天到期後 ，尼明將以自由球員的夏自身份加盟巴塞羅那 ，繼續在頂級聯賽踢球 。加盟據悉 ，巴萨巴塞羅那已與卡瓦尼經紀人取得聯係 ，盼签烏拉圭前鋒想要一份為期兩年的两年合同 。
現年34歲的合同卡瓦尼，擁有豐富的英媒由身比賽經驗 ，曾在巴勒莫 、卡瓦那不勒斯和巴黎聖日耳曼等球隊效力 ，尼明其中代表法甲土豪出場301次 ，夏自打進200球 ，加盟是巴萨巴黎聖日耳曼的隊史射手王。去年夏天 ，卡瓦尼與巴黎聖日耳曼合同到期後 ，以自由球員的身份加盟曼聯，雙方簽訂一份一年期合同；上賽季 ，卡瓦尼在曼聯發揮極其搶眼 ，出場39次 ，打進17球助攻5次 ，幫助球隊奪得英超亞軍 ，且殺進歐聯杯決賽 。

據悉 ，卡瓦尼盡管在曼聯過得不如意 ，基本上踢不上球 ，但他認為自己仍能夠踢頂級聯賽足球。對於巴塞羅那來說，由於財政狀況糟糕 ，轉會資金有限，明年夏天將延續簽自由身球員的政策 ，考慮到阿圭羅即將掛靴 ，卡瓦尼是一個不錯的選擇 。當然 ，卡瓦尼可能會向巴塞羅那索要一份兩年期合同。
