梅西和拉莫斯在西甲對抗多年 ，如今在巴黎成了隊友 。梅西談到西班牙前隊長 ：“和拉莫斯當隊友？這種感覺非常不錯。”
梅西今夏原本打算與巴薩續約 ，但因巴薩薪資空間問題而不得不轉投巴黎 。梅西表示自己未來肯定會回諾坎普 ：“未來某一天 ，我會回到巴薩 。如果能夠幫助到巴薩的話 ，我會非常樂於這樣做 。”
梅西還盛讚巴薩新帥哈維 ：“在哈維的率領下 ，巴薩肯定會取得進步 。作為主帥，哈維懂得非常多，而且他非常了解巴薩。”
