It seems like just yesterday the members of One Direction were young kids on The X Factor, but in news that might make you feel very old, some of the guys now have kids themselves.
Liam Payne is the second member of the boy band to welcome a little one into the world. On Saturday, he shared an Instagram post announcing the birth of his son with English singer Cheryl Cole and explained exactly how he felt about being a new father.

"I'm incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it's a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far."

"I'm completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she's really made my dreams come true," Payne wrote in celebration of Mother's Day in the UK. "We haven't named him yet but he's already capturing hearts including mine. I feel very blessed."

The new parents met on the set of The X Factor, where Cole was a judge during Payne's audition. Six years later, the two stepped out as a couple for the first time in May 2016.
Congrats to the family on this, well, new direction in life.
