在最近一場12強賽中 ，中國男足1-1戰平沙特隊 ，毅中前國腳範誌毅在節目中點評了這場比賽 。国足範誌毅認為 ，脸面中國足球不應該考慮一場比賽的需业結果 ，更多應該想著以後怎麽辦 。内人也不要想著所謂的士用臉麵，中國足球很困難，不懈需要業內人士用不懈的志去鬥誌去挽回中國足球的臉麵 。
複盤中沙之戰 ，范志範誌毅直言 ，毅中國足沒有派歸化球員 ，国足不是脸面最強陣容 ，在沒有出線可能的需业情況下 ，球員的内人心態比較好 ，球員比較放得開 。範誌毅認為，派上年輕球員的決策是正確的，也是為了2023年亞洲杯或後麵的世預賽做準備 。
談到國足上半場被對手所壓製，範誌毅表示跟球隊戰術思路有關 ，範誌毅表示 ：“沙特沒有全部主力 ，球員顯得格外輕鬆 ，國足通過不懈努力扳平了比分 ，祝賀他們 。半場演練是因為我們的戰術打法思路的問題 ，李指導派出的是532陣容 ，我覺得這都是一種鍛煉 ，就是要跟強隊去比拚一下 ，知道自己的差距在什麽地方 。隻要思想統一了 ，不管付出多大的代價 ，最後的結果還是好的 ，看到最後兩場我們的一些變化 。”
隨後 ，範誌毅強調，“現在的國足不要考慮一場比賽的結果 ，更多的是我們今後怎麽辦。整場比賽的打法和我們今後對亞洲足球的認識是最重要的 。”範誌毅還表示 ，國足和沙特隊之間的差距肯定是顯而易見的。
至於比賽的結果是否滿意 ，範誌毅沒有明確表示 ，他說道 ：“為了中國足球的臉麵，我覺得大家不要這樣去想 ，中國足球也有輝煌的時候 。中國足球現在是很困難 ，還是需要業內人士用不懈的鬥誌去挽回中國足球的臉麵 。”
最後談到國足新老交替，範誌毅直言這是每一支隊伍都會碰到的 ，“年輕球員通過這樣的比賽得到鍛煉 ，可能補充到國家隊當中 ，我們的理念 、行為都要更新 ，更接近於當今的足球 、亞洲足球 ，另外還要提高球員的技術和意識理念。”
