現年28歲的霍夫曼目前效力於門興格拉德巴赫 ，既能踢邊鋒 ，也能勝任進攻型中場 ，是一個中前場的多麵手。2020-2021賽季 ，霍夫曼各項賽事為門興出場33次 ，打進8球 ，助攻13次 ，他憑借出色的表現入選了德國隊征戰本屆歐洲杯的大名單 ，但是霍夫曼有可能因傷錯過他國家隊生涯的第一屆大賽 。
