尤文上周與熱那亞的不出比賽獲勝 ，但是场皮传话C羅卻並沒有打入進球 ，賽後媒體拍攝到了一段C羅疑似“摔球衣”的尔洛視頻 。而尤文的受伤跟隊記者表示 ，當時有一名球童索要C羅的总裁自己球衣 ，因此C羅脫下球衣給球童 ，选择並不存在摔球衣的行為 。
但是隨後皮爾洛以及其他足球圈人士都談起了C羅摔球衣的問題 ，也算是對此事的默認。不僅如此 ，《米蘭體育報》甚至爆出了C羅在比賽中怒斥什琴斯尼並在比賽後怒錘更衣室牆壁一事 。也正是因為如此 ，過去的一周 ，C羅成為了媒體與名宿們怒斥的焦點，當然，支持C羅的力量也不在少數。
本周末 ，尤文要在意甲客場對戰排名第四的亞特蘭大 ，由於事關最終是否可以贏得意甲前四 ，因此這場比賽非常重要 。但是在賽前的新聞發布會上 ，皮爾洛卻宣布C羅受傷無法出場 ：“C羅沒有從屈肌問題中康複過來 ，他無法參加這場比賽 。他在最近幾天的訓練中無法正常發力 ，而我們也傾向於不去冒險 。”隨後 ，C羅也更新了自己的INS ，曬出了一段打坐冥想的視頻與圖片 。
意大利《足球市場》卻有不同的看法，這家媒體認為C羅的傷勢不足以讓其缺席比賽 ，因為直到本周五的時候 ，C羅還被認為肯定可以出戰亞特蘭大，而且媒體也並沒有爆出他受傷的消息。為何這麽突然呢？理由是C羅自己並不想出場比賽 ，在現在的這支尤文 ，他有絕對的權利選擇出場還是不出戰 ，皮爾洛隻是傳話筒罷了 。
而C羅不出場的原因或許與在本周遭遇的批評與質疑有關 ，在負麵新聞的影響下 ，C羅的心情肯定不爽 ，而他也決定用暫時遠離比賽的方式讓自己冷靜一下 。
