留意，這次荷蘭隊主帥說的並不是532 ，就此他解釋道 ：“你們怎麽認為我管不了 ，但我更傾向於說它是352。532聽起來有點消極 ，好像從一開始你就準備回收似的。而如果你說352 ，那就是3個後衛 。”隨後德波爾還開玩笑補充道 ：“當然現在我更願意說我們的陣型是1352，因為我們的守門員教練總是抱怨門將被忽略了。”
那麽改叫352有沒有讓球迷們也感覺好一些呢 ？可以肯定的是 ，無論是532還是352 ，隻要能讓荷蘭隊收獲到好的結果 ，那就算得上是一種好陣 。而如果變陣達不到理想的效果 ，小組賽首輪過後各種質疑就肯定會紛湧而至。
