據著名足球記者袁野爆料 ，江苏目前有某家北方中超球隊遇到很大困難 ，队曝球隊欠薪嚴重 ，中超在接下來這個夏窗 ，又队严重恐怕有大量的欠薪球員離開 。
袁野寫道：再過半個月左右中超就將重啟了 ，恐中但屆時還不一定是途退16支球隊都可以齊整參賽 。其中一家北方球隊從今年年初就遇到困難 ，江苏過去半年一直是咬牙力扛 ，可是尤為嚴重的欠薪問題仍沒有解決 。球員麵臨被大麵積挖角 ，外援被歐洲球隊相中 ，國內球員也有其他中超球隊看上 。假如在接下來中超重啟前仍不能解決資金問題，那麽球員恐怕陸續轉會離隊 ，該隊也不知道能否繼續參賽 。
類似劇情在本賽季的中超已經看過很多，上至中超冠軍下至保級球隊 ，都一樣會遭遇如此情況 ，最後衛冕冠軍蘇寧保不住 ，而津門虎則得以順利留下 。另外重慶隊也曾一直被欠薪問題 。至於現在這支遇到困難的北方球隊 ，相信球迷也大概猜到是誰了 。
